The darkness is calling
“We fight the ugliness in the world. We do it in the shadows. Outside of the law. We do it without orders, and we do it without recognition.”

My normal life ended the day they recruited me.
I was supposed to be a simple asset. A nobody. The perfect bait. A lethal team of vigilantes needed someone ordinary to lure an international arms dealer into a trap—and I was exactly what they were looking for.
The mission? Act out a high-stakes, dangerously explicit game of seduction. A performance to lure a killer to his execution. Nothing more.
But as the bullets fly and the bodies drop, the lines between the mission and burning desire begin to blur. I didn’t plan on getting caught in the crossfire—and I definitely didn’t plan on falling for the weapon.
In the fast-paced, chaotic world of vigilante justice, I have no choice but to chase the darkness.
